  • Abstract

Abstract This research paper is about mental and emotional health of youth. In our modern, technology-driven world, screens have become integral part of our daily lives, while digital devices offer countless benefits; excessive screen time is debilitating the mental health. As a society, stress related illnesses have been on the rise. Mental disorders like anger, anxiety, stress, depression and so on are seen very largely among the population. The negative impact of social media on society mainly students who have less interest in learning and research after using mobile phones for longer time, adverse impact on physical and psychological wellness of students making them lazy and unmotivated. This paper will help in therapeutic treatments for decreasing mental illness with yoga and meditation. The aim of the paper is finding our balance and wellness. Those people who are looking for self-contentment and emotional wellbeing. The practice of yoga and meditation offers numerous benefits, improved cognitive function, improved sleep quality, reduced stress and anxiety, enhanced self-esteem and the development of resilience and coping skills.
