Total 52 species of click beetles were reported from different parts of Maharashtra in ongoing studies since 2002. Specimens were collected from different forest regions of the state. The specimens were brought to the laboratory and kept alive in the terrarium as far as possible. They were fed with different types of food. A preliminary study of the jump was also carried out. The dead specimens were preserved in 70% alcohol. They were studied for their taxonomy.
