The PhD program offered by the Department of Zoology is based on the standard PhD guidelines dictated by the University of Mumbai. The minimum eligibility criteria is clearing PET examination conducted by the UOM. Students with NET-JRF can also join the program. The programme initiates with an application by the student, followed by selection, interview and preparation of the Research proposal in consultation with the Research Advisory Committee and supervisor. This is followed by the admission, course-work completion, approval of research topic.
