The path breaking of radioactivity has dominatingly been applied to various domains of science especially for energy, medical and peaceful purposes. The interdisciplinary applicability of this subject has prompted us to celebrate the 125 discovery years of Radioactivity. Thus, K.J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce is organizing public lecture titled: "Radioactivity: Interesting history, important applications" by Prof. P. R. Vasudev Rao, Vice Chancellor, Homi Bhabha National Institute deemed University and Former Director, Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam.
