Dr. Amol Pawar is an assistant professor of chemistry at K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce. He has received his B.Sc degree from Shivaji university Kolhapur and M.Sc. degree in Inorganic Chemistry from University of Mumbai in 2007 and earned Ph.D. from Mumbai University under the supervision of Professor S. S. Garje. He has published research papers in reputed journals during his doctoral work. He has presented many papers/posters in various conferences/seminars. He was recipient of DST-PURSE – Junior Research Fellowship in Chemistry during his Ph.D. tenure. He accepted a position as Assistant Professor in Arts, Science and Commerce college Kinhavli at Shahapur. His research interests focuses mainly on material chemistry, composite chemistry, green chemistry Co-ordination Chemistry, Catalysis.
